It can be super discouraging for people who don’t know how to play an instrument or who have never been in a band to try to start a band when there is so much existing talent and so much “punk hierarchy” bullshit, and i think stuff like this is crucial to helping change that. Also, it is going to be a fucking blast, and everyone, regardless of skill level, should get involved!! Super bummed I won’t be in town.
